The Artwork of Radiohead

The artwork of Radiohead has always been striking and closely linked thematically to the music itself. This interesting article gives some insight into the concepts and development from the artist, Stanley Donwood.

Both myself and fellow blogger, Stephen, have been longtime fans of Radiohead’s music and artwork too, and Thom Yorke, in particular, has been a clear and resonant voice for genuine sustainability amongst other pressing geopolitical issues.

(Also, to me, the parallel design process of the visual artist alongside the musical artist in the sometimes long and pained gestation of the music can resonate with the design process and need for a close, effective working relationship between architect and client in general: in recognising, constructing and addressing the brief)
